Joined Jun 6, Messages Hello: I seem to have "lost" the executable for the "scanner and camera wizard", which makes it easy to write digital images from my CF card to my hard drive. I know I can do some cutting and pasting to get the images there, but it's a pain. Can anybody help out there? As Seen On. Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Generally unless Windows installs legacy drivers for your device you'll need to get Windows 10 compatible drivers from HP in order for the all-in-one to work properly.
Sometimes older drivers will work if they are installed in compatibility mode for the Windows version the drivers were created for. The "Scanner and Camera" wizard no longer exists. If drivers are already installed and you just want basic Windows scanning support you need to enable it yourself in Programs and Features.
The Scan utility shows up on its own in the All Apps list. The App looks like this when running:. Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another. Any content of an adult theme or inappropriate to a community web site.
Any image, link, or discussion of nudity. Any behavior that is insulting, rude, vulgar, desecrating, or showing disrespect. By enabling the Group Policy object you force a registry write that can help.
Be sure to reboot for the changes to take effect. In the Group Policy window, double-click Computer Configuration, double-click Administrative templates, double-click System, and then double-click Turn off autoplay.
In theTurn off autoplay dialog box, click Disabled, and then click OK. This should start the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard, whenever you attach the device. Click Start, click Run, type appwiz. Click to select the Show Updates check box at the top of the window.
Click Start, click 'Help and Support', type 'system restore' in the search window at the top of the page. Select 'Run the System Restore Wizard' at the bottom of the list of options.
