Love the Worlds, love the premise and was very nice to settle into the whole epic story. It's not perfect, a lot of red herrings, but the ride was still a lot of fun and mind opening. Nov 05, Brent rated it it was ok. There are some fantastic premises in the series, but I am not a fan of the methodology used to end the books.

One of the problems with reading a trilogy in omnibus form vs a volume at a time 'as published' is that the 'reminders' embedded in volumes 2 and 3 are less 'useful' Richardt Madsen rated it really liked it Apr 11, Allen rated it it was amazing Apr 22, Rich Clark rated it it was amazing Oct 21, Richard rated it it was amazing Aug 15, Nicholas Henderson rated it it was amazing Jan 06, Damon rated it really liked it Dec 03, Daniel R.

From the moment HP finds an odd cell phone on the train, we're yanked into an adventure we can't put down. The writing is a bit odd in places, but the need for the adrenaline rush of HP's nex I read the first two books in the trilogy and will be getting the third, for sure! The writing is a bit odd in places, but the need for the adrenaline rush of HP's next task made it easy to overlook any strange phrasing. An intriguing read! Nov 20, Chris Torretta rated it it was amazing.

I am totally dumbfounded! I had so many questions, most have been answered and then the end! Oh my god… Just wow. There was always something going on and even when I was cringing because HP can be a dumb ass, I was still sitting at the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next.

And there are some serious WHAT moments in this. The way things are set up I was totally flabbergasted when certain parts of the story started showing their colors. I had even more questions as I got to know the characters surrounding HP. Once I started to see where things were heading it got a little long. Not long enough to actually put down but just a little wordy as the backgrounds of the main characters start coming out.

Again, not enough to make me stop reading and I actually wound up enjoying those portions but the climax was weird for me. Really enjoyed the ending however! I am really hoping the questions that come up in the final chapter are answered! They really made me do a double back and reread!

Dec 06, Lorraine rated it really liked it. This is part of a trilogy, I've just started 'Buzz' the 2nd book. I really liked the 1st book 'The Game'. Great story, interesting and kept me hooked. So many questions! The Game definitely reels you in.

HP's character irritated the hell out of me but by the end I started to like him. Different story, really enjoying it so far. Jan 07, John Brassey rated it it was amazing Shelves: books-read. Excellent book, took a while to get used to the writing style but flew through the series in 3 weeks - read it! Dec 03, Jay Williams rated it it was amazing. The action continues in Buzz as the forces affecting HP and his sister, Rachel, reach out internationally to keep the tension level high.

With the evil forces of the game in the background, fate seems to turn against Rachel as she fights to do her job safeguarding government officials and HP is set up as an apparent murderer in the Emirate of Dubai. Technology is at the forefront again as too many people are not what they seem, and a large tech company works a dark magic through the web. The act The action continues in Buzz as the forces affecting HP and his sister, Rachel, reach out internationally to keep the tension level high.

The action flows fast and furious as parallel story lines proceed in alternating paragraphs. It is an unusual and very effective technique to engross the reader and heighten the level of tension.

I was exhausted when I finished the book, but eager for more. View all 3 comments. Apr 10, Bojan rated it really liked it.

One of my favorite books. At first I did not know that there is a second part, the first book is Amazing! The last one Bubble,is so full of action and so many plots. I thought the first book will be for sure the best I like also the way Anders write.

HP was in the last book maybe too much like a "Jason Bourne" - he could die in dozens of situations. Mar 15, Anita rated it liked it. Good plotting and new concepts. Great Millennium Trilogy easter eggs! British grammar from the translator bugged me a bit "fitted" instead of "fit" , but it's not incorrect. A little of the writing felt a bit juvenile, but overall a very interesting series.

Feb 03, Race Bannon rated it really liked it. This one is pretty good with a dynamite no pun intended ending. You have to suspend belief as to what I will call 'Omniscience' by some individual s , but just enjoy the intrigue. Also it's not quite great at character development, but I did like the woman bodyguard protagonist regardless. Lastly, I knew ahead of time that this is only Book 1 of a trilogy, but there is at least a very nice tidying up at the end of this first book to get the reader a feeling of satisfaction.

Feb 02, Evelien rated it it was ok Shelves: abandoned. Strongly feel this was probably once a movie script and when it didn't sell, was turned into a book with minor adjustements. It is very descriptive, there is no pace in the tons of action this book has, and it leaves no room for imagination since every tiny detail is written down.

Could have been a page book in stead of and a real page turner. Aug 29, Ben Reay rated it really liked it. Surprisingly addictive, strangely written story that parallels reality enough to make you wonder. Great read - my only beef was the habit the author has of blatantly switching perspectives between the two protagonists without warning.

May 20, Abrown rated it it was amazing. Game is about a man in his 30's whose name is Henrik Pettersson. At first he didn't want to but decided to do it to see what happens. When he completed his first task he was excited about the rewards he got.

As time went by the game started getting too serious and messed up Pettersson's normal life. His sister, Rebecca, who joined a special police force was one the victims of the game including their friend Mange.

Hen Game is about a man in his 30's whose name is Henrik Pettersson. Henrik does everything he can to stop the game. The game takes place in Los Angeles. I give this book 5 stars because it kept me entertained the whole I was reading it. The missions Henrik was given never gave disappointment.

Also the variety of characters that were brought into it gave it an extra boost to the mood of the story. The main characters background also made me have sympathy for him even though he's not real. His cool sister who apparently is not someone you should mess with also intrigued me with her various cop like moments. Someone who is a fan of comedy and action type books will love this book. Also people who love surprises in their books would have a fun time reading this book.

When I first looked at the book I thought it was just about someone playing a video game, but I was very mistaken. Nov 07, Neil Plakcy rated it it was amazing. So far I have read Game and Buzz. I was quite intrigued with the premise of Game, and enjoyed reading it, though the author's over use of exclamation marks got to me sometimes. But overall, this is a taut, fascinating thriller set in Stockholm, yet without a lot of the darkness that seems to be characteristic of the books that I've read or read about set there.

There's a lot of humor in both books, with a sort of sad sack hero who keeps getting banged up yet manages to keep on outwitting his enemies. The author jumps around from one point of view to another but I never felt lost, and there are a lot of clever connections between the chapters Buzz was fascinating because it seemed to take the premise of the first book and expand it in a way I hadn't expected.

The beginning seems a bit too coincidental, but I have a feeling that will all be explained in the third book, which promises to be even more intriguing. Dec 01, Janet rated it really liked it Shelves: advanced-read-edition. Anders de la Motte has created quite a world and peopled it with really entertaining characters and situations. The trilogy is so worth reading, I highly recommend you stick with it, even if the first few chapters are a bit confusing due to changes in point of view.

Once you catch on to the writer's voice and style, you will be caught up in this fast paced thriller. I read on edge, constantly second guessing and enjoying the twists and turns.

Well written and plotted with multi dimensional charac Anders de la Motte has created quite a world and peopled it with really entertaining characters and situations. Well written and plotted with multi dimensional characters, I found the series exciting and riveting. Apr 06, Katrina Seemann rated it really liked it. Aug 31, Patrick Rijnders rated it really liked it. Just read the first book in this trilogy. It took me quite a few pages to really get into it, but when I did it was hard to stop.

I was surprised to like it so much, because it's a story completely filled with cliches. Hero who is troubled.

Heroine with a dark past. Crazy people I like my books with a little more originality, but this book is so well written that I can't wait to read the other two parts. Well done mister writer! Jan 31, Holland rated it liked it.
