Disk space manager for windows has stopped working




















Hi, my name is Roger Karlsson. I've been running this website since I want to let you know about the FreeFixer program. FreeFixer is a freeware tool that analyzes your system and let you manually identify unwanted programs.

What does this file do? Is it legitimate or something that your computer is better without? Do you know how it was installed on your system? Did you install it yourself or did it come bundled with some other software? Is it running smoothly or do you get some error message? After this, restart your computer and run the Disk Cleanup again. Type and search for Troubleshooting. Click on "View all" on the left sidebar. Find and click "Windows update".

Then, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. When this is finished, restart your computer and rerun Disk Cleanup. Then, reboot your computer and run the Disk Cleanup again.

After the scan, reboot your computer and Disk cleanup again. You can try to delete the temporary files to fix the problem. Select all the temp files, right-click and select "Delete". Then, restart your computer and rerun Disk Cleanup to check if this solved the problem. Drag the partition panel rightward or leftward to add unallocated space into your current partition and click "OK" to confirm.

If there is not enough unallocated space on your disk, right-click on a big partition with enough free space, select "Allocate space". Screen Recorder. Thanks for posting! I went to try disk cleanup via c rive properties and it worked! HOwever when running it as a program by itself, it failed. Just to be more specific. Click the vista start button Go to computer and right click c: drive.

Choose properties and near the pie chart is a button called disk cleanup. Click on that. I've tried it on every individual drive and partition and so far it's worked. I'm postulating that disk cleanup is choking on a hidden partition.

This occurs as soon as I try to run Disk Cleanup. And, of course, I cannot then do the disk cleanup. Can anyone shed any light on this? I have plenty of free disk space and have rebooted multiple times.
